What it is
Wild strawberry seed oil is a plant oil expressed from the seeds of Fragaria vesca and, like other strawberry seed oils, is high in polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid. It functions as an emollient that softens and conditions skin and supplies naturally occurring tocopherols. It generally has a light, readily absorbed texture.

This oil is generally well tolerated and, owing to its high linoleic acid content, is usually viewed as a relatively low-comedogenic plant oil, though individual responses vary.
