What it is
PPG-12/SMDI Copolymer is a polyurethane-type polymer made from a polypropylene glycol and saturated methylene diphenyl diisocyanate. In formulations it acts as a film former, depositing a flexible, cohesive film that can improve the staying power and even spreading of a product. It is often found in long-wear and sun care formulas where durable film properties are desired.
