Is visible (blue) light from the sun or screens worse for skin?
By far the sun. Sunlight is the dominant source of high-energy visible light, and research links it to worsened pigmentation and melasma, especially in deeper skin tones. The blue light from phones and laptops is orders of magnitude weaker, so outdoor visible-light protection matters most.
Do clear sunscreens protect against blue light?
